When Claudio Vieira de Oliveira was born in the small town of Monte Santo, Brazil 🇧🇷, doctors told his mother the harshest truth they knew — that her baby wouldn’t survive.
He had a severe form of arthrogryposis multiplex congenita, a rare condition that caused the joints in his neck and limbs to twist in impossible directions. His head folded completely backward, resting upside down against his spine 💔.

Doctors advised his mother to stop feeding him. “He won’t make it,” they said. But she refused. She cradled him, loved him, and whispered, “My son will live.” ❤️
