Wife and I went to a community festival. A shelter had 10-12 dogs there all in the same large enclosure. Wife said we should get a dog and the red one was cute.

I had been watching the enclosure and the big white mutt was just chilling and all the other dogs were barking and being weird. The shelter let you pick a dog and take it for a short walk, so we took the red dog for a walk. He ignored us, pulled on the leash and would not listen. We took him back and I asked about the white dog, the lady said he was almost one year old and deaf. He had been adopted previously but his owners returned him (idiots). We took him for a walk and he was perfect.

The shelter lady said there was some items at the shelter for him that was about a 10 minute ride away. I put him in the truck while my wife stayed at the festival to get the items and he fell asleep in that position.
