A baby elephant

Kavi, a baby elephant, lost his mother to poachers.

Alone and grieving, he refused to eat or move for days. The rescue team brought him to an orphanage, but he was broken. Meera, a seasoned caretaker, approached him gently, sitting beside him and offering comfort without rushing. Slowly, Kavi began to trust her, following her everywhere, seeking her touch in moments of fear.

Over time, he grew stronger, more playful, and more confident. Their bond became unbreakable. Kavi’s story of loss and recovery inspired many, but to Meera, it was simple: “Kavi saved me too.”

A year later, Kavi joined a herd of older elephants, but when Meera returned to visit, Kavi rushed to her, his love still intact. Their story is a reminder that love and trust can heal even the deepest wounds.
